CES: 2012 Parrot Zik Headphones

So I was watching Fox News this morning and on their tech segment they showed the Parrot Zik headphones, and I instantly said “I want that.” These headphones have no wires thanks to its Bluetooth technology, and in order to pair it with your phone, all you have to do is tap your phone to the left ear cups, if your phone is equipped with near-field communication like the Galaxy Nexus. Besides the Bluetooth, these headphones also control your music so you don’t have to take your phone out to change tracks, volume or pause. Simply swipe your finger up or down the back of the right ear cup to adjust the volume, swipe the ear cup forward or backward to change tracks, and to pause just simply take the headphones off. It couldn’t be any easier or innovative.
Bone technology helps to cancel out noise when you need to take a call, and active noise cancellation that detects noise inside and outside the headphones. That means that you can use these headphones while talking on the phone with the help of the built in microphone, so you wont have to take them off to talk. The headphones do require you to charge them with the micro USB either from an outlet or your computer. There is also an app that will allow you to set up different gestures and adjust the sensitivity to your liking. There is no information for a release date or price as of yet; however, I will be looking out for these headphones myself.
