CES 2012: OnLive Coming to All Google TVs

January 12, 2012 by SDevourer in CES 2012, Featured, News, ONLIVE, Technology with 4 Comments

In OnLive’s latest attempt to be on every electronic device ever, they announced today that the cloud-based streaming service would become a standard feature in all new and current Google TVs.  Currently, the version available for Google TVs is limited to the social features of the service, such as spectating and messaging.  However, they stated that Google TV users would soon be able to stream games directly to their TV.

This latest venture means that OnLive is available through PCs, Macs, their Microconsole, Android phones (including Xperia Play support), iPhone, iPad, and now Google TV.  The argument for cloud-based gaming has never been stronger.
