Bunker Buster is a simple side to side shooting game that anyone, whether they are a casual or hardcore gamer, can enjoy. It is all in all a very enjoyable and simple, yet challenging game. You are set with an objective at the start of each level. You must take out specific targets as you move across the level from one side to the other and back again. You are armed with different weapons that can range from a single bomb to carpet bombs.

The graphics in the game are very clean and simple – nothing too amazing considering that this is an indie game. It is very well put together. I didn’t notice any glitches or weird things happening during the game. The game feels very polished and very well developed. It felt like it was a nice mix of retro design and new age graphics.

The controls for the game were however, slightly off in my opinion. It seemed just a little hard to control the plane; it always felt like there wasn’t a happy medium on getting it to rise or fall. I had a lot of trouble when the map had rocks or obstacles that were sticking out into the air. Sometimes you would have to lower your bomber but never have enough time to get it to rise. I would always hit the rocks or hit the cave ceiling. Once you get the hang of it though it gets a little easier as the levels progress. Just make sure you don’t mash the button or it will rise too fast. You have to be patient and find that happy medium.

One cool bonus for this game is that you unlock some nice little awards and medals. These awards help with the replay value also. It’s not a gamerscore type of medal or anything that you will benefit from, just some bragging rights between you and your friends mainly.

In the end I am very pleased with Magiki Gaming on this game and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. For only a dollar you can’t go wrong. Head on over to the Marketplace and pick this one up. You will definitely enjoy it. See how many of the 32 levels you were able to beat.
